This is the view across the river most of the time.  No water, just nice green pasture.  Notice how you can't even see the water in the river.
 That was then, this is now.
 It is starting to flood out into the field.


 Now...
Then.... Then being last year's high flood mark.

 The water fowl are sure happy.



 I actually took the last two pictures of pelicans last summer, but just couldn't help but include them.


 Boyd is moving the gravel that we don't want to have wash away, especially since we keep hoping one of these days we can get the septic tank fixed.
 Hope the new spot is high enough.
 Notice how much bank we usually see.

And how the dog park is usually dry ground even if instead of dogs, we have deer in the park.
Or maybe a fox or two or three.
Now, it looks like this.
 And this.

 And the steep bank pictured here is under water.

Fish are jumping in the water-covered field.   Wish us luck!
