Columbia Gorge Scenic Waterfalls

We headed out on our trip at 11:30 pm Saturday night.  It was a great idea to travel through Idaho during the night and arrive in Oregon first thing in the morning.  This put us at the Columbia River around 8:00 am on Sunday.  It was beautiful to see the sun rise and watch the river as we drove across the state.
View from the window of the van as we buzzed down the road.

The first waterfall, Horsetail Falls, was not too crowded and was amazing.  Plus it was super cold and felt so good to step in the water and have that ice water soothe my travel weary legs.

The view from the back of the pack.

Then we stopped at Multnomah Falls.  So crowded!!!

 Very beautiful!

 Crazy crowded!

Neptune Beach

I just returned from a family vacation to the Central Oregon Coast.  I've always wanted to go to Oregon and it certainly didn't disappoint.

The first photos (of many) are of what I think was Neptune Beach.  We stopped here the last full day of the vacation and by then I pretty much lost track of where we were exactly.

Lots of gorgeous rocky beaches all along this part of the coast.  However, this wasn't my favorite stop, nor are they the best pictures, but it is a good place to begin.
It was mesmerizing watching the waves crash against the rocks.
The pictures don't show it well, but I was just amazed at the changing waves.

We saw so many people flying kites.

Just thought this camper was kind of cool.

And a very shaky and windy video.

Sunset on the Farm

Wow!  It has been a long while since I have posted a sunset picture.
Many reasons, the main one or two being that I am either not home at sunset or already in bed. :)
At least I caught this sunset the same night I did the baby bump photos.

No edits.  Straight from camera.
