So, after a rib-eye steak birthday dinner including pioneer pudding for Boyd, a short stop at the teeny visitor center, we FINALLY made it to City of the Rocks.
Our first point of interest (according to a handy brochure we picked up at the visitor center) was Circle Creek Overlook.
It was a short drive up a skinny one lane road to a parking lot that did over look all that we would soon be looking at up close and personal.
Every direction was another amazing view.
We took a brief walk down this road, not sure how far it really goes.
