Fielding Garr Ranch House

Today is Boyd's birthday. I would tell you how old he is, but he has been giving away years to  unsuspecting friends and family all day.  I think he is down to age 40 by now.
To celebrate we ended up at one of his favorite hangouts.
The Fielding Garr Ranch House at Antelope Island.
It has an old farmhouse.  You can see how creatively they hung their curtains, another room used spoons.
It is a gorgeous and peaceful place to hang out.

Boyd says he wants to move here.
This is inside the bunk house.

The spring house still has a flowing, working spring.
He loves it here, because they don't care if you touch the displays.  Touch isn't even accurate with Boyd.  More like tinker, spin, crank, push, turn, anything he can.

You can easily see Salt Lake City from the island.

A view of the ranch house.
 Plenty of Case equipment.

Brand new Michelin tires on what seemed to be a non-functioning tractor.  Pricey!  Trust me, I know!

Boyd was fascinated by the many different kinds of materials that made up the back wall of the very long shed.
They even had homemade adobe brick.

Apple Blossoms

Kind of past their prime, but I was glad I made it out to photograph them.
