An Afternoon at the Beach

Okay, at the edge of our muddy field. (Sorry about the quality, iPhone again)
This was our field and road.
Maggie and Jen came for a walk up high where the water isn't. Maybe it's where the water isn't, but the skunk was. Jen gagged a lot and almost puked, it didn't even bother me. Jasmin got it big time and it missed Maggie altogether. Such is life at the Dismal Land and Livestock Company.

Is your house going to be safe if the water rises any higher? I went out to Grouse Creek yesterday, the usually dry, alkaline soil out there was unusually moist. The creek was high.
