By Special Request

I drove home last night in a white out storm with huge tumbleweeds blowing across the road.  We woke this morning to the power out, but only for a few minutes.  Just long enough to get up, call Rocky Mountain Power and get the cords gathered up to start up the generator and we had power again.  It's cold and it snowed, but it could have been worse.
And now, brought to you by special request from Eileen (you're famous now!), pictures of the storm's aftermath.
A lot of drift action happening!

Boyd's hand so cold it had to hide in his sleeve.

The glass window of our screen, completely frosted over.

  1. You definitely got it worse than we did. I think by the time the storm made its way south it lost a lot of steam. Thanks for the pics. Doesn't it make you grateful for a warm house, at least when there is power? Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Brad said they got less than an inch in Provo; however, they closed BYU down nevertheless. His comment was next time I get 20 emails, some text messages, and a phone call from BYU for that much snow, it makes me look forward for what they're going to do when it's the Second Coming!!

Apple Blossoms

Kind of past their prime, but I was glad I made it out to photograph them.
