Today is Boyd's birthday. I would tell you how old he is, but he has been giving away years to unsuspecting friends and family all day. I think he is down to age 40 by now.
To celebrate we ended up at one of his favorite hangouts.
The Fielding Garr Ranch House at Antelope Island.
It has an old farmhouse. You can see how creatively they hung their curtains, another room used spoons.
It is a gorgeous and peaceful place to hang out.
Boyd says he wants to move here.
This is inside the bunk house.
The spring house still has a flowing, working spring.
He loves it here, because they don't care if you touch the displays. Touch isn't even accurate with Boyd. More like tinker, spin, crank, push, turn, anything he can.
You can easily see Salt Lake City from the island.
A view of the ranch house.
Plenty of Case equipment.
Brand new Michelin tires on what seemed to be a non-functioning tractor. Pricey! Trust me, I know!
Boyd was fascinated by the many different kinds of materials that made up the back wall of the very long shed.
They even had homemade adobe brick.

Buddy
Since blogger not only turned Jasmine upside down, but wouldn't let me post another video, here is one of Buddy and the goats. And, for your viewing pleasure, it is right side up!
Life is Passing Me By
Or I am passing it by. I am not sure which is the truer statement.
I haven't intentionally been ignoring the blog, just haven't found anything exciting enough to share. I found the following on my iPhone from the past week. Proof, I guess, of what I am trying to point out.
We did meet at the grave to commemorate the third year of my dad's passing.
We have enjoyed sunny weather, snow storms, and sunny weather. Which meant mosquitoes, icy walkways, and mosquitoes, in that order.
And a couple of videos to show you that I can sit still and enjoy the mellow side of life... on occasion.
Yes, I know it is upside down. It wasn't like that when I uploaded it. Good luck with that everyone.

Moon in the Morning
Although I have enjoyed the full moon phase, I haven't bothered to take pictures until this morning.
Even my husband joined us for the morning chore routine. I think this is the first time in our marriage that we did it together. I think we should make a habit of it.

Boyd took this picture. Good job, don't you think?
This is a large bird of prey that Jasmine tries to harass.

Waiting for Boyd to get the paper.

And, thanks to the recent winds we are now privy to the neighbors' trash both literally and figuratively. Some interesting reading, I tell ya!

This image got lost in the multiple images from last week's post. It is my favorite!

Twin Update
The twin tractors are starting to look more like each other every day.
Tractor #2 now has weights. I bet it is so happy!
By the way, in the other post about the twin tractors, the one without the weights at that time was the new one. That should be obvious in light of this post.
