Composting

We are studying microorganisms in my class and so I took some pictures of the piles of our goat poop straw.  Boyd made me practice driving the tractor by stirring the pile.  Gotta love it!

This is what it looks like before composting begins.

And this is what it looks like after a year or so.

Just what everyone wants in their backyard, a nice steamy pile of poo.

A less aromatic and much more decomposed pile.
