Labor Day Trip - Howell, Elba, Outpost Steakhouse

Even though we originally were going to make it out to City of the Rocks in the spring, we finally made it on Labor Day.

Part of the fun was finding all the trail markers along the way.  They weren't always easy to spot, so it was a proud moment when we found them all.  Thanks, Boyd for taking a photo of each one.

For, Boyd, the highlight of the trip is eating at the Outpost.  He always orders the largest rib-eye.

 Some views of the valley.

Elba has some fun old buildings.

This image makes me laugh.  You can see my reflection in one window and Boyd looking in through the other.

My mom commented that they must not have met recently because the chairs had dust all over them.

 Outside view of the steakhouse.
We made our first stop at the spring in Howell.

This is a photo Boyd took.
