Brigham City Temple at Night

I happened past the temple one night with my camera.  The skies were a bit dramatic with a storm coming in.

Come, Ye Thankful People Come

 I need to take some time and edit a few of these, make them a little lighter, etc.

Brigham Temple

We did a quick drive by of the temple tonight.   They have finally opened all the streets so you can drive around the whole block.  They have also taken down the fence and you can walk on the sidewalks.   I didn't get out of the car because I had Pebbles hair and was wearing shorts with hiking boots and my sisters thought I would scare off the large groups of people who were also there.  It is really beautiful.  I'll be going back one day when I am less odd looking.

So, none of these are great, not even good, but it was fun.  Boyd called me from the South Farm and told me to come over with my camera.   We ended up on a dirt road south of the high school.  I just enjoyed the skunk smell and the peaceful night. 

 I also played around with the exposure settings. 

 For those that might not know, that's the high school in the bottom right.

 Same shot, different exposure.  Kind of makes it look like it is floating.

Temple Update

 Sorry, but I had not choice but to take the pictures into the sun.

 You can't even get a good feel for how deep the hole is, but it is DEEP!

 They have green fence around the whole construction site, so you have to walk into this little opening and look through a regular chain link fence to see anything.

Brigham Temple Square

I wondered why I hadn't taken any pictures of the temple construction and now I know.  It is HARD to get anywhere near the site.  Here's what I got and it is only thanks to Boyd's persistence and driving skills.
