Crystals and Compasses

Emmy loves to sort through the buttons and find the crystals.

She definitely knows the difference. 

And the big, gold, nautical buttons are apparently a compass.

She wasn't finding nearly enough to keep her happy, but she did discover her reflection.

 

My Farm Helper

When Emmy was here in November we had a lot of fun hanging around the farm together.

 Jen and I made it to Maryland on a very hot and humid day.  Emmy was so excited to have us see her house. 

Jen brought a CD player and some books with nursery rhyme songs - songs that are now permanently stuck in my head!

Emmy took this photo with my camera.  Pretty good!

It only took showing Emmy how to use the CD player once for her to get it perfectly.

 Emmy was a bit perplexed about her shadow.  I probably had more fun than I should have tormenting her by stepping on it!
