Princess Palace - Again

 Boyd has wanted a new princess palace since the last one blew down a few years ago. 

 

Somehow I held my phone wrong for one clip, but here is a brief video of the prep.  

I'll try to get some pics of the solar lights at night.  It's Boyd's favorite part. :)

Done For

 After repeated attempts to rebuild, the princess palace is officially a goner.  We got a super hard wind and I was over it - all of it. 

Fun while it lasted, but not worth the cost of fixing it just to have it destroyed again.

We also lost our apricot tree.  It fell right on an apple tree we want to remove.  Of course, the apple tree is still standing!

Windy Woes

So much damage...

Sunday night, in the dark, Boyd parked the tractors to form a wind block and create an anchor.  He tied the palace down and it worked.  

 We did have to fix the damage caused before he moved the tractors.

 Busted poles... he had to use a variety of tools to pull the broken parts from inside the other pole.

 We just recently put a brand new tarp on the dog pen.  It also got ripped!  UGH!  The goats love to hang out in the dog pen.  Go figure!!??
