Retirement Sunrise

The morning of my first official retirement day I climbed to the top of the haystack and watched the sunrise.  Just seemed like something memorable to do.  The sunrise wasn’t vibrant at all, but I was still glad I did it.

Good thing I did it that morning, because later the same day the buyer started hauling off the bales.

It was a fun experience, I think I will do it more often next season. :)

Anyone recognize the car?  Jen was headed in to work.

Morning Water Change

Boyd started the water on the hay in front of the house.  This crop looks SO MUCH BETTER than first crop.  It's nice to have something looking good and growing well.
