Fall Scenes Around the Farm

 

Lots and lots of kochia

I ripped out a weedy patch of grass and laid down some pavers. Too bad I didn't take a picture of the finished project.  It actually looks nice and allows us to drive up on the back patio without tracking mud or smashing flowers.

I'm starting a hugelkultur garden for next year.  I started making the base layers.  We will see how it works.  I know I will still have to add water, I mean, I do live in a desert after all.

These mums were so vibrant this fall.
