Jess and Emmy came over to see the goats and play in the snow. 

We ended up seeing a herd of deer cross along the bottom fields.  Jeff came over to check it out.

We decided to hop in the Spyder to see if we could get a closer look.

We found them, but they were so very far away.

 

December 27th

We took a walk around the river today and invited the Adams' dogs to join us. 

 Boyd spotted a fox, a backhoe and people walking on the other side.

This is the same dark fox my dogs chased a couple of mornings ago.

I burned a bunch of left over boxes and dog food bags. 

 And, the best part of the day, some time at Stinky Springs.  Just a 20 minute soak does WONDERS for my body.

 Ahhh, so worth the trouble and smell. :)

Laddie

This dog constantly makes us shake our head in wonder.

 You have to basically stand over him and demand he eat. He would much rather be running around.

 

But notice how in both photos, he eats from one side of the bowl in a very even pattern.

  
I got tired of waiting one day, so I put Jasmine's bowl on top as a lid to keep the birds out.
 
He decided it was a puzzle to be solved and promptly knocked it off and started eating again.
 

 Boyd loves him and he likes my hammock, so I guess we will keep him.

 Besides, Sarge needs someone to play ball with anyway.

Dogs At River - First of April 2019
