Pelicans at the Refuge 4_21_17

Pelicans are my favorite shore bird.  I just love watching them dip their heads to feed and it feels so amazing when they fly overhead and you can feel the air move from their wings.

We've had a couple of pelicans hanging out at our house for a few weeks now.


 There were also plenty out at the refuge.
