A First for Both

Laddie and Boyd went out with Jasmine and I for one last boat ride the last Saturday in October.  It was the last boat ride for two of us, but the first for Boyd and Laddie.  What a gorgeous and warm day it was after a many days of rain!

Jasmine took her usual spot at lookout.
Laddie liked watch the oar go in and out and in and out of the water.
We all enjoyed be powered down the river by Boyd.

And, then it was time for a nap in the sunshine.

A lovely, excessively large patch of burrs.
I had to keep moving him back on the seat, I was certain he was going to fall off.

Gorgeous sunshine!

We made it past the edge of our farm.

We spooked six turkeys up and they flew across the river.  Then, we saw this Bald Eagle hanging out in the tree.

It was a great day to call it a season for the row boat.

Apple Blossoms

Kind of past their prime, but I was glad I made it out to photograph them.
