Petersen Park

After our time at the fair, we went home via Petersen Park.   The gate just happened to be open, so we drove down in to the park.  I should have taken a picture from the top, but I didn't.  I am sure we will be back.

This park was donated by Boyd's family.  It used to belong to Boyd's grandfather and his siblings.  It was initially donated to the LDS church for use with the Boy Scouts.  It is now designated as a muli-stake camp, mostly used by the Young Women.  However, you can reserve parts of the park for private parties.  But they don't allow DOGS!  I can't believe it.  :)

Boyd had a good visit with one set of the missionaries in charge of the park. They asked a lot of questions about the history of the land and his family.
