Just after a snow and during the very cold (below zero days) a neighbor missed the stop and ended up in the canal. All is well and only the car was damaged, not the person.
The ironic part is that I had noticed one car with flashing lights earlier that morning, but it was one road farther east. Then about 30 minutes later, I noticed it had moved to almost the same spot, but now it was on Pack Hatch road, one road west. I am certain that someone called in the accident and they couldn't find the location. It happens ALL the time. I sincerely hope we never need emergency services because they always get lost out here.
Anywho, here are some photos. The traffic jam only included two cars in each direction, but around here, that is SOMETHING! I must have waited 5 minutes or so for the tow truck to pull it out. :)
