How To Know When It Is Time To Stop the Fall Work

Frozen ground.  It's hard to judge the size of the dirt clod, but it is easily 3ft x 3ft.  Solid sheets of dirt lifting out of the ground.

So frozen the plow was snapping shares at will.
So frozen the ripper didn't rip, it broke instead.
Good thing someone is a talented welder.

At least the corn is off this year.  Remember last year when we harvested, worked the field and replanted in a three week period in May?
See ya next spring!
