The Shade Garden

 The north side of our house and two walnut trees and two humongous pine trees, which makes for a completely shady area.

 It's a good place to grow coleus, hostas and impatients.

 Plus, my mom didn't have much luck with these hydrangeas, so I took them home to try.  Between the complete shade and the pine tree acidic soil, they are doing much better.   I wonder if they will survive the winter, though?
