The First Boat Ride

It was well into summer before I managed to take the boat out for the first time.

I found this little guy hanging out on the trailer.

 He won't get in the canoe with me, but he doesn't mind the boat.

 Jasmine was also with us, but she was behind me. They aren't much trouble to take along, except when they both shift to the same side of the boat simultaneously and I have to quickly shift myself to the opposite side.

 I did all the rowing and this is how I found them not long after we returned.

 I decided to cool my feet off in the irrigation water.
