Bear Lake - Tony's Grove

On August 8th, we took our yearly Bear Lake trip.
This year we took at detour and drove up to Tony's Grove.  I had heard the wildflowers were abundant this year.  They were, we were just a couple of weeks too late to see them at their height of bloom.
Still fun, still beautiful and actually crowded with people.

I don't have any photos of Bear Lake.  We had a picnic in the back of the Ranger with thunder and lightning hitting all around us.  Then the weather cleared and we enjoyed watch the waves so close to the picnic table.  We usually have to trek out to the lake from our annual spot, but this year the water came to us. :)

Apple Blossoms

Kind of past their prime, but I was glad I made it out to photograph them.
