From the Phone - 8/14/2016

Photos on the phone that I don't think I have posted yet.

The edge of the river had a mini waterfall.  I think this must have been run-off from the neighbor's irrigation.
Jasmine riding look out on the canoe.  She loves it when we go out in either the row boat or the canoe.  This particular night I was stung by two wasps.  I put some river mud on each sting location and almost immediately felt relief!

Jen and I found a great deal on raspberries and decided to make jam.  We added in apricots from my tree and it is delicious!

This goat!  He has been my favorite since he was born.  Always kind, friendly and somewhat an underdog with the other goats.  He loves to nuzzle and be scratched on his head.  I have a makeshift fence built around my garden to keep him out.  Part of the fence is an outdoor couch.  One night this week he decided to make himself at home and hopped over the arm of the couch and then stepped down to munch on some corn leaves.  I was watering the garden and watched in amazement at how easily this geriatric old boy made the leap.  I am afraid I may need to adjust my fencing situation.

Once again, our farm road is an animal super highway.  Raccoons, skunks, deer, birds of all kinds leave their mark on the road at night.

And, I found this treasure one day when I went with Boyd to change the water.  There were actually two laying side by side.

Sage doing his morning scratching routine on the tree.

My prime camping spot, right under the apricot tree.

And, Sage heading back towards the house after our morning walk.

Apple Blossoms

Kind of past their prime, but I was glad I made it out to photograph them.
