The Last of 2014

Just some final images of scenes around the farm this month.
We still have blue skies and snow on the mountains.
Buddy still likes to think he is in charge of his goats.
Boyd laid out some straw in a path from the house to the goats to help with the mud situation.

Buddy dog has taken to running off on occasion.  He heads toward the road or over on the neighbor's property.  He blatantly refuses to come back until he is good and ready.  Because of this attitude, he has spent quite a bit of time on a leash.
The goats took advantage of no snow to find the last remnants of anything to browse.

Doesn't he look like some GQ guy modeling for a tractor ad?   I have been repeatedly warned about posting photos of him on the blog.
To make things even, here is a picture of me.  I am actually heading off to find one disobedient border collie.  It also proves that my husband can run my new camera even though he insists he can't.

Love the little sliver of moon!
 And, now we have snow.

Fetch!

Jasmine loves to fetch her tennis ball.  However, I don't think she enjoys the fetching nearly so much as the treat she gets at the end. :)

Yes, We Still Have Cats

Seems like the poor cats don't get any blog time.
Don't worry, they get plenty of attention.  They just don't cooperate with my camera and therefore have very few pictures.
Gilligan makes sure to get some house time by hanging out at the back door in the evenings.  He likes to come in and move back and forth between Boyd and I for some attention.  He will ALWAYS ultimately end up curled in a nice little ball in Boyd's lap.  Boyd is his favorite!

Belle our huge, black fur ball doesn't often leave the old house, especially in the cold weather.  She  demands her turn for attention also.  You have to be careful when you try to leave as she will swat her claws out and try to catch your arm to get you to stay.
Lucky for them they have heated mats and the attic of the shop all to themselves.

Calendar

I created a calendar as a gift for a few people this year.  And, since I am incredibly lax on posting to this blog, I will share some of the images.   Which means, according to my husband, only two more posts to go to tie my total posts for last year.

Owls

A couple of owls have taken to roosting in our pine trees at night.
Drives my dog crazy when she hears them, but I like it.

Ogden Lights

We ventured out to join the throngs to see the lights in Ogden.  Gotta say I was impressed. Not sure what I was expecting, but it surpassed any expectations.  We even ate at 5 Guys after.  Quite the excursion for the two of us.  We went out where we knew people would be and we did it on purpose!

I took SOOOO many pictures of the lights.  I am only posting a portion of them.
