Coot

 I took some pictures of an event Jeff put together.  443 or so.  Yep, there will be a whole bunch of bird posts coming.

 This is a coot.  Apparently, they are a bit vicious.

 They caught quite a few birds and recorded their information and banded them.

 It was a chance for kids and adults to learn more about the different kinds of ducks and waterfowl that inhabit the area.
