Halloween 2016 - The Neighborhood

In past years, I have never ventured down the lane and across the street to check out the Trick or Treat happenings. 
 Who knew it was such a popular destination?  There aren't all that many houses in the small subdivision, yet it draws MANY people from town out to our area. 

Could it be the large bonfire?

  Or the horned mounted rider?

 With a headless horseman?

 Or the kids playing in the middle of the road?

 Maybe it's the lurker on the log starting his own fire on the side of the road?

 Or maybe it's the creative costumes?

 Could it be the hay ride taking Trick or Treaters from house to house?  Or the fresh from the fryer  homemade donuts one house offers every year?

 Who knows?  All I know for sure is that it was the place to be this year!
