Monday Morning Moon

This is how the moon looked Monday morning.

I took the photos on bulb mode and held it open for about 3-5 seconds.

It's been kind of warm the last two days, in the high 20's.  I'll take it.  It is actually rather pleasant considering where we have been most of the month.

This house all lit up belongs to some Adams people I know.

Date Night

I'm willing to bet that most couples do something a lot more exciting than scoop out poopy snow on their Saturday nights.

The sad thing is it really made me happy to have the goats' and dogs' pens cleaned out.

Here are some scenes from the exciting night.  And, yes, I am glad Boyd bought the back hoe.  It comes in handy!

Boyd made an unintentional snowman.  Can you see the head propped on the big pile.

Here's Flora supervising the pen cleaning.

Scooping out the frozen "poop"sicles.  I couldn't shovel them out.
And, the ugly, grey, hazy, inversion filled sky.

You can't tell from this picture, but the snow on Sunday night drifted so much I couldn't find the dog food dishes.  They were at least 8 inches under the snow in the part of the dog house that is UNDER the tarp.  Crazy winter weather!

The Scenery

It really was this grey.  I haven't edited these photos.

I was trying to get the cool clouds, but it didn't really come through the same in the photos.

The Roadside Herd

These guys were literally right on the side of the road, hanging out.

This guy was the closest to the road.
He was digging down for the good stuff.

I took these through the windshield of the truck.  Look close and you can see the waves in the glass.
