Capitol Reef - Petroglyphs

After a stop at the visitor center, we headed over to a stop to look at petroglyphs.

We took a loop through a spot further down the road, but based on the crowded parking lot we didn't stop.

 The walk to the petroglyphs was easy and even had sporadic shade.

 As we headed off to a longer scenic drive, we passed by some old equipment.

Just Outside Capitol Reef

We headed to Capitol Reef and stopped at one of the pull outs.  The red rock was like a spongy trampoline or the feel of those anti-fatigue mats. 

 It also had so many different wildflowers.
