Goats Galore

The goats are loving the apples now that they are falling off the trees.
I think they are enjoying the cooler weather.

But the amount of daylight left after I get home is certainly dwindling.
 They have to eat fast!

Plus, they love to scratch their backs under the swather and the backhoe.  Makes for a lovely grease spot on everyone!

A Close Call

I am so glad I was only sitting on the hammock and not lying down when the flock of geese flew over head after sunset.  I certainly didn't see this coming.  Just heard a lovely plop at my side.

A Series of Sunsets

It amazes me to watch the light change so quickly every night.  This is a snap shot of the sun setting each evening.  No editing of the photos at all.

Oh, Hay!

After much deliberation, Boyd decided to cut the hay.
Which, of course, brought on the rain.
Enough rain, that he shut off the irrigation on set early.   But only after he had watered our new hay.  Yep, let's hope it didn't drown with all the water it got.  UGGGHHHH!  It's tough when your salary depends on the weather!

Haystack Rainbow

I noticed a rainbow over the mountains and only had my iPhone.  (Note the finger photo bomb!)
When I moved around the haystack I saw it was actually a double rainbow.
And just then, some geese conveniently flew into the shot.
 And then flew out.
All of the pictures but the last are straight out of the camera.  The last, all I did was a quick color boost to add some drama.

A Break in the Clouds

The clouds caused this totally cool pattern of sunlight on the safflower.
I haven't done any editing at all to these photos.
So amazing!
