Another Winter Walk

If you don't take a walk around here before the frost leaves the ground, you will be sorry.
After mid-morning, things are just a muddy mess around this farm.

Besides taking walks we have spent our time looking for mice.
Which requires a lot of focus and patience and the utmost concentration.
Not to mention, some of us have been shooting a little hoop.  Wearing muck boots instead of high tops, however.
The sky has been full of vapor trails!

Looking For A Good Home

Some friends of mine have some puppies for sale.
They asked me to come over and take some pictures to post on the ad.
I was happy to help, but so afraid I would want to take them all home.
They proved to be absolutely adorable, but I was able to resist.
Even when I was offered one for free.

Plus, they have a lamb for sale also.
If anyone is interested in Aussie pups, just let me know.
I am happy to share the contact info.

Thanks Sybil!

For Christmas, our Aunt Sybil sent us a package of old photos.  It was so fun to look through them all.
Watch out Sybil!   I plan on scanning some of you to post here.

We found some of each of us to show how cute we all were when we were young.
Except for poor Haylee!    She says it is because all the other people are old and she isn't.

Winter Wind

It has been frigid around here lately.
It was 8 degrees this morning.  Yesterday the wind was blowing so hard!   Up to 75 MPH.
So what did we decide to do?  Go for a walk.
It wasn't too cold for the dogs.
 Not one bit.
It wasn't too bad for Boyd and I when we were facing west.
But when we turned around to come back and were facing east into the wind, it was freezing!

 At least it was pretty!
