Dogs and Cats - May Update

Just a happy Jasmine!

 And a serious Laddie.

And two of the five ticks I picked out of Jasmine in one week.  I haven't seen any for a couple of weeks, so I hope the season is over!

Just a farmer and his dog.

We've gained a couple of cats.

We seem to be a haven for strays.

I went to close the window in the old house and found this egg laying on a rain soaked dog bed.  ???

Some times I just never know what I will find around this farm.

Goats - May Update

Goats are good, though we had a bit of mastitis.  My only female goat has a precocious udder and a mammary tumor.  I have been milking her out and had to inject medicine in her teat for about a week.

Her milk is good and very creamy.

This is just a trace.  I actually have about a quart saved in the freezer.  I want to make soap... one of these days.

Trigger is always good for a cheesy expression.

Burning Ditch

He knows I worry when he lights fires.

Since we had the permit, we decided to burn the ditch.

I know he is going to catch himself on fire one of these days!

Great to Be 8

Did some fun shots of the adorable girl a while back.

Pretty Purple Weeds

I once knew the name of this weed.

Whatever it is called, I think it is so pretty.

Fields and fields of it grow every spring.
